Zulueta, Iván
b. 1949, San Sebastián
   Filmmaker and graphic designer. One of the most iconoclastic filmmakers of the 1970s, who enjoys an avant-garde cult status and was associated with la Movida. His career consists of a series of experimental short films in Super 8 format and two long feature films: Un, dos, tres…al escondite inglés (Hide and Seek) (1969), a musical parody which combines psychodelia and pop imagery, produced and co-written by his former teacher and mentor, J.L.Borau, and Arrebato (Rapture) (1979) where he mixes cinematic reflexivity with supernatural and gothic elements. His cinema is introspective, concerned with exploring the language and experience of film.
